Purpose: The purpose of the committee is to help develop and encourage the human-animal bond. Activities: Include participation with the San Diego Humane Society in pet assisted therapy events (e.g. visiting seniors, patients in hospitals, etc. with pets), scheduled events with the Humane Society doing animal enrichment activities, and assisting in fostering Humane Society animals. We would also help military personnel who are sent overseas to find a foster family for their pet.
