Purpose: The Turning Setbacks into Comebacks Committee uses the San Diego Rotary Club’s public platform to pursue a mission of empowering and encouraging club members to rise above their circumstances and maximize their God-given potential.
Activities: Support group sessions for Rotary and Rotaract Club Members facing the effects of COVID-19 on careers, on hiring, and on human resources. Individual “I’m in your corner” coaches provided for all seeking support.
Why Join: Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. There has never been a greater time than now for San Diego Rotary Club members to support one another in order to maintain it’s long track record of addressing challenges in our communities and around the world.
