Dr. Brian Jaski-New Horizons in Heart Transplants

On October 11, 1985, Cardiac Surgeons Aidan Raney, Douglas Zusman and Pat Daily, and Cardiologists Sidney Smith and Brian Jaski undertook the first heart transplant in San Diego County at Sharp Memorial Hospital. This year marks the 35th anniversary of this historic community event.
Dr. Brian Jaski, who is the Medical Director for Advanced Heart Failure at Sharp Memorial Hospital, will join us and talk about the amazing progress we have made in organ transplants since then and what is on the near horizon. Personal strategies for prevention of heart failure will also be presented.
