Youth Organization-SD Children’s Choir

Carrie is the Executive Director for the San Diego Children’s Choir, a non-profit that provides children with music education and performance opportunities that foster performance development and excellence. It is the oldest and largest choral training program serving children ages four-18 throughout San Diego.

Carrie has spent her entire career in the non-profit sector: from scientific research to wildlife conservation to the arts.

She is originally from Fullerton but has now lived here in San Diego for 30 years.  She is a UCSD grad.

Carrie, her husband Matt, and daughter Julia reside in Mission Hills.

And she says that although, ironically, her maiden name is “Musick” (pronounced “music”), and she is involved with the SD Children’s Choir, she is not musical at all!
