Retired-Medicine-Ophthalmology

Glenn retired from medicine after 30 years.  Originally from Wisconsin, he and his family have lived in San Diego for 48 years.

He and his wife Barbara are passionate about supporting and sustaining our public recreational venues, including bike paths, inner city parks, public libraries and local theaters.  They are also champions for quality access to higher education.

Glenn has been active as a science teacher at Normal Heights Elementary school for over 7 years, has been active in the Mission Hills Library Association’s new building planning, and he and Barbara have sponsored minority students through college.

Glenn loves to read, paint, go boating, kayaking, biking and has recently taken on the piano and ukulele.  Cruising and biking the canals and rivers of Europe has been his passion.  This spring he will bicycle the various rural routes in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.

Doug Arbon, Tom Vecchione and Dick Troncone were his sponsors.
